Armeñime south-west of Tenerife

The small, sunny town of "Armeñime" in the south-west of Tenerife belongs to the municipality of Adeje and lies on the coast road in the direction of Los Gigantes, 4 km away from the sea.
The nearest sandy beaches, Playa La Caleta, Playa Paraiso or Playa El Puertito, are only 4 km away.

Armeñime is also known for its pearl factory "Tenerife Pearls". People have always been enchanted by the beauty of pearls. At Tenerife Pearls, you discover the fascinating world of pearls and can buy real pearls, as well as fake pearls looking like real ones, or simply visit the pearl museum and go to a café afterwards.

Apart from that, this town has small bars, cafés and a small supermarket.

Armeñime is also a good starting point to the surrounding golf courses. The golf course of Costa Adeje is only ca. 5 km away. You can also reach the five-star golf course of Abama in a few minutes by car.

Our advice: Visit the white sandy beach. It's true it is artificial, but the hotel Abama has created a very beautiful beach. Even though the beach belongs to the hotel, every beach on the island of Tenerife is public and has to be accessible for every visitor. So don't be shy - allow yourself a wonderful day on this precious beach.
