Property description
This beautiful Canarian holiday home is located in El Guincho, a small village by the sea between Icod de los Vinos and Garachico. The village of Garachico is about 2 km away.
The municipality of Icod de los Vinos is famous for its thousand-year-old dragon tree. Garachico, on the other hand, is considered the most beautiful coastal town on Tenerife. The village has an enchanting church square and many cafés as well as restaurants. A cosy black sand beach is located in the village. The natural sea pools offer a perfect place to swim and sunbathe with calm waves. Furthermore, the well-known hiking trail "Chinyero" starts here.
In Icod de los Vinos, the dragon tree "Drago Milenario" is located in a beautiful natural park with a cave that has its roots back to the time of the Guanches, the indigenous people of Tenerife. Also worth seeing is the cave "Cueva del Viento", the doll museum, the old town and much more. In addition, the old town has many beautiful historic buildings, cosy cages and shops.
Equipment
The holiday home, a typical Casa Rural, was completely restored in 2006, preserving the Canarian style and charm.
The cosy living and dining area has satellite TV. From here you have a wonderful view of the Atlantic and the room is generously furnished. Internet is also available as well as a ceiling fan and a small stove in case it should be chilly.
The bedroom is equipped with a double bed, here you also have a beautiful view of the nearby sea and in the living room there is a sofa bed.
The kitchen is openly integrated in the living room and equipped with all important kitchen appliances - including a washing machine.
There is a beautiful furnished roof terrace with a wonderful view and a small garden with barbecue area is also available.
There are 2 holiday homes on the property (link to the 2nd house....). You will reach the two accommodation units via a stone staircase from the street. Inside is a covered and beautifully landscaped patio (Canarian courtyard) from which you can enter the two accommodation units.

Super location for hikers. Many possibilities nearby to get to the mountains quickly. Teno and Orotava not far away. If you want to be flexible, I would always rent a car. They are not expensive on Tenerife.
The house, what can I say: more than great 😘 the location great, quiet and a view, just superb. I looked over banana plantations down to the sea.....more is not possible 😃
The equipment, nothing was missing. On the contrary, there was everything down to the smallest detail. When I arrived, even the first supplies were provided. Bread, cheese, water etc. ... service from the landlady. The house has three terraces, one above the other, built in stone. A wonderful view. I could never decide which one I wanted to sit on in the evening after hiking. I will come again 😎😀The accommodation was beautiful and met my expectations

Very nice and quiet, wonderful view over the banana plantations to the sea and the coast, especially from the different terrace levels.
Lovingly furnished. Everything you need is available, including a washing machine. Kitchen is well equipped.
