Los Silos on the north coast of Tenerife

Los Silos – a paradise for divers.

The small, quiet town of Los Silos on the north coast is located between Buenavista del Norte and Garachico. Puerto de la Cruz is about 30km away, eastwards.
Several small houses and apartments were built and are spread towards the sea. There is also a small bathing bay and a swimming bath with sea water.

You can also find a diving school in the town. The clear water and the mainly rocky coasts are perfect for wonderful dives. There is also a chapel under the sea with a Madonna. No joke!
This chapel was especially built underwater in a grotto for the divers, and the Madonna is supposed to be the divers’ patron saint.

Due to the fact that it is located near the Teno mountain range and the Teide National Park, Los Silos is an ideal starting point for hikers. The Golf course of Adeje can be reached within a few minutes.
The municipality of Los Silos measures about 24,23km² at an average height of 90 metres above sea level.
