Playa Los Cristianos Beach

Die Playa de los Cristianos is the second beach in Los Cristianos and reaches from the port to the East.

The beach
The light, approx. 1 km long sand beach Playa de los Cristianos has only weak winds and low waves. You will find here mainly elderly people. At the beach is a sunloungers and parasols rental. Showers and toilets, a children's playground, lifeguard, warning flag etc. are available. If you have enough of the beach, you can go shopping in nearby stores or take lunch in one of the restaurants at the promenade. You can reach Playa de los Cristianos with your rental car. Parking lots are nearby.

The town of Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos and the neighbouring town Playa de las Américas are the main tourism centre in the South of Tenerife. The both towns have grown together over the last years. However, Los Cristianos still has an own, distinguishable town centre (along the pedestrian zone to the promenade). Here you will also find small shops with lovely things. But there are also many stores with tourists junk and electronic scrap. At the promenade of Los Cristianos and in the alleys you will find some restaurants, bars and cafés with their Canarian charme and amazing view over the port and the sea. Boats and ferrys to the neighbouring islands La Gomera, La Palma und El Hierro start everyday at the port.
