Property description
In the municipality of Icod de lo Vinos you will find this beautiful holiday home with sea view and 2 living levels. The house is located about 3 km from Santa Barbara above Icod. The rural region at the foot of the Teide impresses with lots of greenery and offers you relaxing holidays away from the hustle and bustle.
The impressive dragon tree of Icod is worth seeing. The "Drago Milenario" has a circumference of around six metres and is 17 metres high. Above Icod de los Vinos you will find the "Cueva del Viento", a volcanic cave whose passages extend over several levels.
Icod de los Vinos is about five kilometres from the holiday home, you will not only find various shops there but also numerous restaurants, bars and cafés.
Do you want to spend beautiful beach days in Tenerife? The Playa de San Marcos beach is about four kilometres from Icod. In Garachico, about 12 kilometres away, you will find a seawater swimming pool, and in the port city of Puerto de la Cruz (about 26 kilometres) you can enjoy yourself at Playa Jardin or in the seawater swimming pool Lago Martiánez.
Equipment
The pretty (about 80 square metres large holiday home) can be occupied by up to 4 holiday guests.
The living and sleeping area is on 2 levels. On the lower level, adjoining the comfortably furnished living area - with two sofas and a flatscreen TV - is the openly integrated, well-equipped kitchen. In the kitchen you will find all the large and small appliances and utensils you need for cooking and eating during your holiday.
A staircase leads upstairs to the large gallery bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. The bedroom can be partitioned off by means of a screen.
The holiday home has a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC.
The outdoor area is green and well-maintained. In addition to a terrace, there is a garden with various seating options and loungers. You will also find an outdoor Jacuzzi. Heating of the jacuzzi is available on request for a fee (20 euros per day). There is internet in the house.

First of all, many thanks to Maria and Francisco (landlords) for their hospitality. The meeting point was arranged at a restaurant in Santa Barbara, where Francisco picked us up. The drive to the Casa was quite steep uphill. The property is beautifully situated in a vineyard, the garden all around is simply wonderful. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The house is ideal for 2-3 people. During our holiday, the pellet stove was indispensable and Francisco took care of the pellet supply without being asked. He also put a whole crate of oranges from his own garden in front of our door. We were also allowed to enjoy the wine from his own garden -> very tasty.
The landlords also checked on us a few times without being intrusive. Although we don't speak Spanish, it was still a very funny conversation. Please give my regards to Maria and Francisco and thank you very much.
You don't need to worry about suggestions, because the attention to detail is perfect at the property. Very very nice landlords, we will definitely be back.

We liked the house very much. Getting there is a bit complicated. The landlords speak Spanish, unfortunately we don't, so there were misunderstandings on the phone. But with hands and feet and Google Translate everything worked out fine. The landlords were very helpful and approachable. The house and the property are beautiful and well-maintained. However, you need a rental car to get there. All in all, we can only recommend the house, but it is not completely safe for children. The second floor is a kind of large gallery. Our one-year-old daughter explored the stairs and the second floor with great eagerness. But with a bit of resourcefulness, everything worked out. The landlords were also kind enough to provide us with a travel cot.
