Valle de San Lorenzo and La Florida - south-west of Tenerife

Holiday houses and fincas with pool or holiday apartments for a couple or for a family in a calm area. This can be found in the area around Valle de San Lorenzo. Even if you travel alone you can find a nice accommodation, e.g. a low-priced Studio in this town.

Valle San Lorenzo belongs to the community Arona, and is close but also distal from touristic hot-spots. So it doesn't take long to get to the popular sand beaches at the Costa Adeje (8 km) but it is far enough to enjoy the calm and quiet accommodation and enjoy the great view to the Atlantic and the mountains.

The location

In and around the town Valle San Lorenzo are almost no holiday accommodations. The locals are more involved in the agriculture and their very good restaurants with a Canarian cuisine. Many people drive from far away just to go for lunch or dinner in Valle San Lorenzo. (Just that you know, even we like to drive there especially with our guests and many are surprised about the large servings.)

Valle San Lorenzo adjoins to the new build town La Florida. This is a town full of villas with a good infrastructure, stores, supermarkets, pharmacy's, banks, exclusive apartments, penthouses and villas. Here is the right place if you want to spend your holidays in a calm area and with more luxury. La Florida and Valle San Lorenzo are also a good choice as starting-points for day trips along the entire west coast of Tenerife or to the mountains.
If you like to do water sports like surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, diving, sailing, etc. you can go to Los Cristianos und Las Americas which aren't that far away. Also boat trips to do whale and dolphin watching are possible from the harbours of Los Cristianos und Puerto de Colón.
